Programs available for new students:
Master of Practical Ministry (MPM): Students will complete 1,000 hours of combined classtime, practical ministry service, and assignments. Prerequisites: bachelor’s degree in theological studies or equivalent.
Project Specialist certificate: Students will regularly attend class and complete a special project related to the class material that will be useful for their ministerial, professional, or personal responsibilities (e.g., curriculum unit, in-depth research paper, screenplay or other creative project). Prerequisites: high school diploma or equivalent.
Certificate of Auditing: Students will regularly attend classes and complete a reflection paper. Prerequisites: high school diploma or equivalent.
Programs for students who attended Breath of the Spirit School of Ministry / Melodyland School of Theology from 2020-2022:
Doctor of Practical Ministry (DPM): Students will complete 2,000 hours of combined classtime, practical ministry service, and assignments. Prerequisites: master’s degree in theological studies or equivalent, plus students must have already completed a minimum of 1,000 hours of combined classtime, practical ministry service, and assignments connected with Breath of the Spirit / Melodyland School of Theology during 2020-2022. Students must submit documentation of 1,000+ prerequisite hours completed according to instructions provided by BSSM; this documentation should be submitted by January 20, 2023.
