UG President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is impressed by American Philanthropist Dr. Michelle Corral Humanitarian & Refugee Mission in Uganda last month.
According to sources near the president who have spoken to HICGI News Agency, indicate that Museveni has Internalised Heal The Planet Global Organisation – HTP Report accounting the 2 day Humanitarian Trip of Dr. Michelle alongside HTP North American Vice President Dr. Joan Ross and 10 other aides.
The American team conducted a medical outreach at Christ the King Primary School in Kalungu Masaka where more than 1700 people benefited and also received items for their day-to-day life on 08th October 2019.
Dr Michelle assisted by Heal The Planet Global Organisation; Team led by Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin continued to Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Western Uganda; 3rd world largest Refugee Camp supporting close to 100,000 refugees from Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Somalia, Burundi, Rwanda others.
At Nakivale, Dr Michelle was received by Camp Commandant and the donations to Refugees were delivered in the Presence of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees -UNHCR Representative. These included brand new clothes, footwear, medicine, sanitary wear, bags & food.
In the Report copied to UN Chief to Uganda, US Ambassador, Speaker of Parliament, Prime Minister & UN Headquarters in New York which HICGI News Agency has looked at, Kivumbi applauds Uganda Government for the support in ensuring Dr Michelle and her team are secure as well as access the places they did with clearance at Airport by Uganda Revenue Authority, National Drug Authority, Prime Minister and other Government Agencies in Security & Protocol.
Names like President’s Private Secretary Mrs. Molly Kamukama. Premier Rt. Hon Ndugu Ruhakana Rugunda are mentioned in appreciation.
HICGI News Agency has also learnt that Vice President H. E Kiwanuka Ssekandi has also delivered appreciation to Dr. Michelle through his emissaries for coming to Uganda.
A letter has also been confirmed from the First Lady & Minister of Education & Sports to Dr Michelle Corral copied to Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin promising cooperation in the upcoming Dr. Michelle 2nd Visit to Uganda next year 2020.
In this concluded visit, Dr Michelle made donation amounting to $250,000 and promised to increase it to $500,000 in her next trip.
She conducts a daily and weekly feeding program to elderly communities in Luwero in additional to clean water provision.
