Juba, South Sudan – Renowned American televangelist Dr. Michelle Corral has successfully concluded her transformative two-day missionary visit to South Sudan, where she led the highly anticipated 2nd Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference at Juba Christian Centre. The groundbreaking religious event attracted over 1,000 pastors from both urban centers and remote areas across the East African nation.
High-Level Government Meetings Mark Historic Visit
During her impactful stay in South Sudan, Dr. Michelle Corral held significant private prayer sessions with the country’s top leadership. She met with South Sudan’s First Lady, Maj. Gen. Mary Mayardit, wife of President Salva Kiir, at the prestigious State House. The American ministry leader also visited Vice President Gen. Rebecca Nyandeng de Mabior, widow of the late President Dr. John Garang, for an intimate prayer session at her residence in Juba.
Powerful Healing and Deliverance Services Draw Thousands
On the final day of the Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference, Dr. Corral conducted a transformative healing and deliverance service for pastors and conference delegates. Many attendees reported experiencing instant healing during the powerful ministry session, highlighting the spiritual impact of the American televangelist’s visit to South Sudan.
Notable Healing Testimonies
Among the remarkable testimonies was Dr. Corral’s ministry to a malnourished toddler whose caregiver explained that the child had refused to eat since her grandmother’s passing a month prior. The compassionate American minister not only prayed for the child but also pledged to cover her medical expenses, demonstrating her commitment to humanitarian work in South Sudan.
Dr. Corral also ministered to Bishop Tomson Byamugisha, head of the Pastors Fraternity in Makindye Ssabagabo, Uganda. The American televangelist declared that God had preserved his life for the sake of revival in Uganda and East Africa. Bishop Byamugisha, a member of Corral’s advisory council and intercessor, had recently undergone complex medical treatment in Nairobi, Kenya.
Former Muslim Cleric’s Dramatic Conversion Testimony
Sheikh Mujahid, a former Muslim cleric, delivered a powerful testimony during the conference about his conversion to Christianity. He publicly confessed that in the past, he had persecuted pastors and burned numerous churches. The former Islamic leader compared his transformation to that of the Apostle Paul, who was once Saul, a fierce persecutor of Christians before his dramatic conversion.
Humanitarian Outreach and Community Impact
In a demonstration of Christian compassion, Dr. Michelle Corral personally distributed new clothing, including jackets, to several pastors attending the conference. Additionally, at a local church in Juba pastored by Ambassador Joseph Lupai, the lead host of the South Sudan mission, the Breath of the Spirit Ministries team—led by Rev. Dr. Gregory Rhea—provided food donations to hundreds of children.
Future East Africa Ministry Plans
Speaking to HICGI News Agency in Juba, Dr. Corral expressed her faith and optimism: “God is going to answer the prayers of South Sudan.” She also praised Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, L.H.D. (Hon.), for being a blessing to the Body of Christ.
